Where has march gone?? It doesn't seem like 2 seconds since it was christmas and now here we are. I've been abit slack with my blog posts so i'm hoping to pick things up and post more regularly. I really enjoy sharing with you guys and hearing your opinions on the products i write about. So here we are, MY MARCH FAVOURITE'S.
First thing i'm going to talk about is the, Clinique Moisture Surge Intense. I'm a sufferer of dry skin, so using the correct products are essential for me otherwise my skin will get to the stage where my make-up cracks, flake's, and generally, looks a mess! Which is exactly what was happening. I'm not going to lie, i was embarrassed and didn't feel comfortable. So i went to the Clinique counter in Debenhems and splashed out on a high priced product. It cost me around £38. After one day i could already see a big difference after applying my make-up. The lady said it was a quick fix and she was right, it is a quick fix moisturiser that doesn't necessarily cure dry skin in the long run, but added to your routine will keep it at bay. I've now been using it for a couple of weeks and it's my absolute favourite. My make-up looks smooth through-out the day, my skin feels smooth and looks healthy. There isn't really much of a smell so no problems there either. Although this product would be more than i'd normally pay for a product, i'd definitely say after my experience seeing it work while i was struggling with dry skin make's this my top march favourite.
Tea Tree Toner Tab from Lush. Costing only £1 and another product i'd highly recommend if you struggle with blackheads. It's a simple small product that you pop into boiling hot water, either in your sink or a bowl, and hover your face over so that your skin in-hails the steam. I did this for roughly around 10 minutes. I didn't really see a difference straight after i had used it, but the next day.. wowza. Is the word i'm going to use. I seem to have alot of problems with my skin, and yes blackheads is one of them, i have them everywhere i'm shamefully going to admit. So when i noticed the next day the results i had to look twice. Ofc it didn't clear them up completely, especially with not as many as i have. But it definitely 100% helped and made my skin look so much more healthier. I especially could tell a difference with my right cheek where my pores are smaller and my chin. The only area that i didn't really notice a difference was my nose.
Make up product time! And it's the Soap & Glory Solar Powder. This bronzer is great if your just starting out with make-up. I love the design and the size of the product as it fits perfectly in your make-up bag. I have been using this for a couple of months now and it still has alot more use to go before i hit the bottom. So for £11 it sure does last a while.
The colour's are light, subtle once applied to the skin which you can build up if your wanting a deeper bronze to your face. I mainly like this product as it isn't heavy on the skin and it add's just the right amount of bronze to the face to give it that extra lift and shine. The left side is matte where the light right side has abit of sparkle to it. This doesn't show much once applied, i wouldn't use it if that was the chase as any type of glitter, sparkly product on my face is a huge no no for me. So if your ofc, a girl! Starting out with make-up wanting a light, high street bronzer the Soap & Glory range is the right choice.
Now for my none make-up skin care products. The Kilner range seems to be the new 'IT' product to have, and... i finally have one! The glass cup has a screw on lid with a flower design and a hole specifically for a straw. Theses are the cutest glass cups i have seen and i think they are just perfect for summer, on the go or in the garden with friends. I especially like the design of the handle, as it makes it ofc, easier to walk around the house with if you have slippery hands. So if you don't own one of these glasses, GET ONE.
Last of all is this cutest of all cute's owl! Made out of tin and roughly around 8 inches, it appears to be hand-made and has that rough look about it. There is nothing more to say other than it's adorable! I think it's going to make a fun looking ornament around the house and would even work as a garden fixture. There are other designs such as a duck and different shaped owl's. Unfortunately i haven't got a direct link to where you can buy these. I went to Skegness and brought the owl with my tickets in the arcade. The only information i have is that it was from ShudeHill Giftware. But why not use this owl as a perfect excuse for a day out. Trust me, it's worth it.
Thanks again for reading my post! Let me know what you think of all the products.
